Here's the thing with the Strait of Hormuz oil shipments. It takes 14 to 28 days for ship from the middle east to arrive in Australian refineries.

Everything that has arrived left before Trump, at the behest of Netanyahu, started this war.

Everything still on the way for the next 14-28 days also passed through before the war, and the only people jacking the price up are the refining companies and petrol station corps. Hmmm. Coles, Whale Oil ...

Also most of the oil, that gets refined and makes it way to Australia, doesn't actually go through the strait.

@SuperMoosie

The oil being refined now, and that on the way here, was contracted and paid for months ago. Yet the price of fuels goes up the minute a sparrow farts in the middle east. When does it come back down? 6 months later, assuming there are no farming sparrows.

@ausgroucho

Good reminder that electrifying everything, is good for our economy and countries security.
