Wasn't it Bernie and his base complaining about Kamala not facing a serious primary last year? I've seen so many complaints about that primary that I don't understand why it would be a bad idea to have one now. I also don't understand why it's okay for Bernie to anoint Platner?

Mills is a proven Democrat and a well known figure, and considering the last time Bernie put up a candidate they turned out to be a right wing psychopath, Fetterman, I think this is a good idea.
