Spiritual guidance is definitely one of the things you can’t get from an LLM. The pope’s reason, because an AI “will never be able to share faith,” is pretty much why I don’t want it for music either. (Whether you choose to take “faith” there literally or metaphorically, art is about sharing something machines can’t have.)

@tiffanycli @mcmullin I’m astounded at how much of this translates almost directly to musical composition. Of course, as a some time preacher, I can also relate with the spiritual side of it.
