@eniko u say rediscover but are they actually *learning* anything

the solution in this article doesn't seem to fix the problem but only spread blame more widely when the problem occurs

@mcc @eniko it's very possible they will discover it and proceed to cover up and do absolutely nothing or shift the blame

@mcc @eniko yeah telling senior engineers they need to spend all their time reading code that nobody could be bothered to write is... well, we'd like to believe that whoever proposed that solution knows exactly what it's going to do to the company's ability to even pretend to function, and did so in the hope of forcing a real decision soon after.
