I've been messing around with Apple Shortcuts lately, and I guess you can call them from the command line, which is neat.

The other half of this is that I've been messing with a-Shell which runs on iOS and can run command line stuff, (including Python scripts) and you can use Apple Shortcuts to run CLI stuff via a-Shell on iOS so yeah, that's pretty neat!
I feel like some of the scripting stuff I always wanted to do on iOS is possible.

So even though we tend to view iOS as this locked-down platform (And it is!) there are some cracks in the wall that allow you to do things.
It *should* be easier but I guess too many clueless people started using computers and too many malicious people started targeting those people and then we put computers into everyone's pocket and well. Blah.
@kkarhan Termux is owned by "FREE AI UTILS COMPANY LIMITED"?? Uhh...
@rasterweb I mean the real #Termux on @fdroidorg not some scammy clone.

@kkarhan @fdroidorg The last time (about 8 years ago) I got excited about running command line stuff on Android I could not get it to do what I wanted... which was control the camera to capture and store images.
I have that working on iOS now with a dead simple Shortcut. 🤷🏻♀️
