You would think that someone at Apple would occasionally come across a situation where they are running FaceTime on a Mac connected to two Studio Displays and realize that the fact that there is absolutely *no distinguishing feature* in the name referring to these two displays can be somewhat problematic when it comes to camera selection.

Camera on the left or camera on the right? Your guess is as good as mine! I paid good money for these displays. Apple might want to be a bit more helpful.

@betalogue yes, exactly. how long could this possibly take to fix, even if it doesn't cover all possible pathological arrangement cases?
@hyperjeff When two Macs with the same name are on the same network, macOS automatically adds a numerical suffix, in order to avoid confusion. Even that would be helpful. (It’s not like I unplug and plug my displays all the time, so I could *learn* that “Camera (1)” is the one on the left and “Camera (2)” is the one on the right.) Either that or give me a way to rename the displays/cameras.

@betalogue Rename along w/ a quick way to highlight the monitor being renamed seems ideal.
