Student loan interest is a big fuck off actually.
Financial year 2024–2025 a full third of my loan repayments went to paying down interest accrued over the same 12 month period, like what the heck.
Steven SDF@beeps Once I worked out that I'd be paying all mine off and it wouldn't just expire, I phoned up the SLC and paid off the remainder to save on the interest.
