In Svenska, Johan is pronounced like “yo-one”. It’s one of the most common names in Sverige, so I joke, “If you can’t be the Johan you love, love the Johan you’re with.”

I tried that joke 3 times with Johans in Stockholm before accepting that Svenskar don’t have a cultural appreciation of Crosby, Stills & Nash.
