@canyakker This is a special place. A thermal power plant discharges its condensate into a small river (totally free, picture 4), which joins a larger river (partially free, picture 3). This creates a stretch of free water about 2 kilometers long. One can paddle back and forth along it 😎 The lakes will get rid of ice in May.

@saja I'm glad it's not the weather causing it to melt so early!
