lonely extrovert@Billthoo never heard of an anamorphic lens! i know of anamorphism, but have no idea how it's done in a photograph.
@rothko I’m not very technical, but my best explanation is that there is a vertical cylindrical lens element that squeezes the incoming image laterally so that a panoramic image fits onto the normal width sensor. You then Desqueeze the capture image (with an app or anamorphic projecting lens) to reconstitute the panoramic image. Does that make sense?
