What is OpenClaw? An outer loop that wraps LLM engines, so they can manage their own context, and call arbitrary external commands to do things? I think people were already throwing the idea around in 2022, with every LessWrong thread saying it was "obvious" (with "Closed-Ended Quasi-Humans" being the logical conclusion), arXiv.org papers also benchmarked LLMs for tasks in simulated environments. So the contribution here is someone actually spent time and resource to implement it. Why is it considered revolutionary? I don't know. The publicity stunt of Moltbook definitely helped.

@lucyli 我这几年折腾的事情和 LLM 没半毛钱关系,完全不懂,估计有些中学生都比我知道得多(虽然我可能看一眼就知道怎么回事了,但我这里和 LLM 无关的坑已经太多了,完全没精力开新坑,例如今天刚解决如何在小霸王学习机上运行东方 Project 同人游戏,感觉这比 OpenClaw 有意思多了)

@lucyli 并没有,一直都对游戏兴趣不大,PC 没玩过多少游戏,游戏主机更是一个都没碰过。上个月买一个小霸王学习机,是想看看这上面能不能写程序,顺便看看游戏。结果这游戏一直运行不正常,于是目标从“写自己的程序”变成了“调试别人的游戏程序”——小霸王学习机,对中小学生过于幼稚,对资深开发者刚刚好。
