People in meetings are always telling you that they are “conscious of time” as if that makes them special.

I’m conscious of time *and* space *and* smells, mate, but I don’t go on about it, and you should consider yourself lucky about that last one.

A lot of people speak by just assembling clichés, and I suppose it’s normal, but once you notice it, it can start to make your brain itch. A staff member in Tesco earlier noting that people “do utilise the baby changing area”.

It’s genuinely one of the best things about The Big Lebowski, though, how he picks up phrases and uses them, sometimes inappropriately.

My workplace is inundated with “let’s take that offline” and “this needs to be socialized”. I would love some ado shenanigans.
@sollat If the latter one isn’t about a puppy, I don’t know what it means. Discussed with others?
@Nickiquote
Honestly, I barely know. I take it as “must be discussed ad nauseam with as many people who will have conflicting opinions as possible”. If that isn’t the intent, it’s definitely the result.
