@bugcounter Last night I discovered a Bolthouse Farms Mocha Cappuccino beverage that had been delivered by Doordash and left out. It was delivered about 5 hours before I found it, and it's safe to assume it was taken from the shelf at the store within an hour of that, so we'll say 6 hours out of refrigeration. It was late and I forgot to take a temp on it, but the ambient where it was sitting is around 70°F. I put it into the fridge to await assessment.

Risky or not?

@bugcounter These are my wife's and she's currently got a stomach bug, so I'm inclined to be fairly risk sensitive right now anyway, but it's also a more general question. Everywhere on the bottle, it says pasteurized and cold bottled.
@Haroldina if it’s properly pasteurized you’re fine, given the very short amount of time involved.
@bugcounter That's kind of what I was thinking. We're probably going to get rid of them anyway since my wife has a stomach bug and the amount of caution we have right now could be described as abundant, but let's say this isn't the first time something like this has happened.
@Haroldina also what the fuck is Bolthouse Farms doing making cappuccino? That just seems really weird.
@bugcounter I'll assume they're an east coast thing. I wasn't familiar with them until their smoothies and such started showing up here.
@Haroldina I guess I’m confusing them with a different fresh produce company. It looks like only they make our smoothies.
@bugcounter hey, as long as I got you to say "fuck", it's all good
