Loving Andromeda but what is up with the online stuff?

Long story short, I got Mass Effect Legendary Edition (the remastered/rebalanced Shepherd trilogy) for $6 (and it goes on sale for this all the tim…

Andromeda was a complete screw job. They dropped it and then pulled all support within a few minutes

Was it that fast? I wasn’t there for it. I heard it was coming out. I saw some of the backlash. Just got into it this year.

The first half has been fun. In the second half I feel like I’m doing radiant quests in Skyrim. Like fetch quests. Still enjoy it, but it could have been better.

I started Andromeda only after I beat the legendary edition for the first time, and I have mixed feelings about it. There are definitely little irksome bugs like you mentioned, and unfinished storylines that make you feel like there’s more game or like there’s a second one in the works. The thing that bugs me the most is that none of your choices matter in the game. Nothing changes, zero consequences, nada. That’s one of the things that really drew me to ME to begin with.

Honestly, with exceptions to those small bugs and room for improvement regarding gameplay, I liked it. It doesn’t have the same replay value, and the story feels unfinished, and your choices don’t matter, but it’s still pretty fun.

I actually didn’t know they shut down the multiplayer servers for ME:A. I never really got into it the way I did with ME3 (which I still play almost daily). Shameless plug for a community dedicated to the multiplayer aspect of Mass Effect [email protected]

Because EA sucks balls. Stop giving them money.

I paid $4 for Andromeda and I’ve gotten a few dozen hours out of it. I paid $6 for the Shepard trilogy (Legendary) sand I got over 100 hours out of that.

They more than earned that $10

But yes, EA sucks.
