Hi #Selfhosted and #Fediverse people! I would really love a recommendation on a self hosted "thing" for replacing a facebook group. Stuff like a closed off area for discussion (non-public), and the occasional live video. Think football club stuff, where you don't really want stuff about your kids public :) I have been looking at doing a matrix server, or a #bonfire instance with groups. But I would love other recommendations.
