Keep in mind that Tehran was already in the middle of a devastating water shortage.

they bombed water desalination plants. as well as schools and hospitals and are carpet bombing residential areas.

they want to replicate Gaza’s genocide in Iran.

There aren’t any open source evidence of carpet bombing, yet.

No B52s or B1s over Iran yet either. Those are the carpet bombing platforms. Also no images of aircraft carrying dumb bombs, only guided munitions. And no sat imagery of carpet bombed areas.

This is a sub-psychopatic comment.

I’m tired, boss.

I don’t know what’s true anymore. Do I trust the US state-sponsored media, or the Iran state-sponsored media? Obviously both will be littered with propaganda cheering their own side and jeering their opposition.

Do we look at other international outlets? Who the fuck is even on US’s side anymore? Enough to actually provide unbiased truth?

Do I turn to social media, for the vox populi, for the boots on the ground from actual people in Iran? But then how do we know they are in Iran, and not a troll farm? We don’t.

And if we have Iranian-American friends or neighbors, their perspective is likely skewed as well…you don’t know where they are getting their information from. Are they getting it from people they actually, personally, in the 1990s definition of the word, know in Iran, or some rando on Facebook that they are “friends” with? And their reasons for leaving Iran may also influence their perspective on the news, as well.

And then, then…there’s the charlatans. The people out there that are finding putting together two and two to make 7. Adding to the static that’s surrounding us constantly.

It’s way, way, way too much to think about, man. Post-truth America sucks.

Cant agree with you more.

George Carlin has the best advice when he talked about the first Iraq war. Never trust what any government tells you. Or their corporate donors.

From there you can basically extrapolate that to mean the blogosphere, as that is just new media indirectly from the same donors.

Always check who pays the salary of anyone with a platform. Because 95% of them are grifters or state sponsored at worst, or useful idiots at best.
