The animal shelter near me has a busted drum on the dryer they use for all of the towels, blankets etc. anyone with appliance repair skills close to Solano county who could volunteer to replace a part?
Conversely, with all of the hotels in the SF Bay Area, does anyone know if maybe a laundry is upgrading an industrial dryer and maybe could find a way to write off the used one to a charity? lf so, lmk
@CivilityFan use YouTube university and replace the belt on that puppy. With an assistant, it’s not hard. First, get the model number into DuckDuckGo . Go from there.
@ELS Thanks for your advice, it’s not the issue but nice of you to offer it. The problem is that the drum is physically damaged and needs replacing. Here’s a picture that I saw of the drum
@CivilityFan Ah. I guess you need to find someone with the same dryer, but with a broken control panel or such. Otherwise, I’m guessing that even just the shipping cost of a new drum might be high enough to discourage you from fixing it.
