Apparently this server became unresponsive at some point today because syslog reached GBs in size.
The culprit is a web-facing service.
These tools are way too chatty, I really don't need the full serialized HTTP response in my system log, do I?

And now the question is: are the services still federating? Given it was basically a whole day offline (not really, but) some other services I'm subscribed to might have deleted my connection...
Only one way to find out: shout into the void and hope for the best.
