I wish it were that simple. Unfortunately we still get screwed even if we don’t drive, how else would food and supplies get delivered to shops? It’s all dependent on fossil fuels… Everything is going to be more expensive. I guess this is what Trump supporters think “owning the libs” is.
This is oversimplification, the market adjusts to price increases. Making new tech more and more options preferable.
Stop subsidizing gas and see how other fuels, other transportation. Options flourish.
An electric large carry truck will only happen when the market can prioritize it…like woth 10$ dollar gas.
