thats a cool longtail, which one is it?

looks great, but I also cant tell if the wheel size is regularly big or not

in anyway, thanks for sharing your build here :>

Benno Boost 'merica style with the class 3 setup. 24’s so I can monstertruck stuff with a lot more confidence than 20’s, but my balance with weight is way better than 27.5/26. I am able to get a lot of stuff done for myself and family members with it, really happy.

Very creative! And very sturdy-looking too

I’ve been wanting to set up a way to transport my kid’s bike for days when he takes the bus to school, but can’t take the bus home because of sports practice. But my kid is 11, so the bike is bigger. I’m thinking of something like your setup, but with the rear wheel rolling on the ground. I saw a setup in a blog post that used a strip of metal to make a front axle wheel mount point that sticks out from one the side of the rack, so the two bikes can be sort of side by side. Oh yeah, here it is

How to Carry a Bike With Another Bike

DIY towing system to enable you to take a second bike with you when you ride!

That’s exactly right. Somewhere in there you’re gonna make it work. Please do post if you get something going. Would love to see.

There is a thing called Trail-Gator that allowed your kid to ride their bike the whole way but when connected to your bike, you had control.

I could hook up my son’s bike and take him to the park, then unhook it and let him ride alone.

Trail-Gator Child Bike Tow Bar

Trail Gator Bicycle Tow Bar, child bike tow bar, converts child’s bicycle into trail-a-bike or trailer bike. Trail-Gator child bicycle tow bar allows for tandem bike riding and independent riding with children.

I fuck with that HEAVY. Only ever seen the full tow behind complete packages. I might actually get that… Tyvm

This setup is specifically for getting to the greenway without a car. It’s pretty shit bike infrastructure to get there so I gotta keep it very tight like this. 🙃

Yeah. Same. I saw the “half bike” ones all over, but my kid wanted to ride alone, but from the house to the park was a shit show so it was either put the bikes on the car to go two miles, or that. Easy choice.
