Can someone help me figure out why I was banned from a few communities?

Checked my notifications to see this, I’m not even active in those communities.

The reason says ' Piefed Troll ' I’m not sure what that could be?

Can someone help me figure out why I was banned? I wasn’t very active in the last week I can’t imagine why I’d be banned, especially from these communities.

Seems that a few people are getting banned for “random” reasons.

(Looking at ban reasons and their posts from the same time I suspect it’s all because they criticised AI lmao)

Seems you got banned for your post “I searched CachyOS vs Fedora on YouTube and all I found was AI Slop 🙄”

can confirm, i & a few other users got comments removed & banned from some communities for talking about how to spot genAI images etc

most of the people in question were slrpnk.net users, so it makes sense why we’d be against something that’s so electricity- and water-hungry while providing very little of use (meanwhile i’m fine with locally-hosted analytical AI that’s doing stuff like analysing scans for cancer, for example)

but weirdly, the bans all got labelled as stuff like “anti-AI neoliberal”, even though neoliberals are totally fine with corporate-owned genAI being added needlessly to every service 🤷

dbzer0 users call anyone who disagrees with them a liberal no matter what the issue is, because they’re the followers of the One True Socialism
Isn’t the db0 instance anarchist not socialist?
anarchism is also called libertarian socialism
And there’s no such thing as an anarchocapitalist because it’s an innate oxymoron.
Anarchism is so dumb, it’s literally dumbasses who want no laws so they can do whatever they want including download movies for free and steal art from artists. Fucking disgraceful @[email protected] is a disgrace for joining this space of idiot sovern citizens who want to be immune from consequences
Thanks for proving you don’t know what you’re talking about, I mean, we already knew, but the warm fuzzy feeling of being indisputably right is always nice
