I didn’t drink much until I was legal. Had the occasional glass of wine with a fancy dinner but that was about it until I was 20. Went out on my birthday and got a 6-pack of beer, wasn’t even carded, which was kind of a let down since I was happy to finally be old enough to drink.

IIRC, I had one can of beer and my room mate drank the rest.
