People shouldn’t support AI at all! All AI is evil and fascist and steals from artists. Learn to draw instead of using AI!
Oh yeah definitely would be better without it. But considering it’s worldwide impact, it will be really hard to reverse course and extinguish it. And if you can’t get rid of it, at least try to make it the least harmful as possible.
It’s like instead of always saying “just replace your electricity grid with solar panels” it’s “try to replace it, or at least use electricity that comes from nuclear instead of coal”
The ai is volunteer run so it actually harms the bubble too. And I doubt it will be maintained much longer after the hype dies down
