The Met Reacts To Chalamet's Opera & Ballet Diss: VIDEO

Think again, Timothée.

@georgetakei I find it sad that artists don't support other arts. I'm also guessing Timmy hasn't tried to get tickets for Glyndebourne, or the ENO or RBO for the new season. The last few tickets for RBO Rigoletto are £282. I guess I'll stay home and rewatch Timmy's Dune for free (supported by adverts for detergent)
@georgetakei
II think that's the right of youth... well, he's still young. And on the other hand... opera/classical music is something you have to find, discover... No one ever thought that I—a headbanger, a rowdy, a punk and pop lover, an underclass kid—would sit in an opera for four hours, come out crying, get upset about candy-sucking grandmas destroying the best moment…- You can't and shouldn't force it. Maybe he'll understand it someday... or maybe not 🤷‍♀️

@georgetakei I think he knew what he was doing there.

Looking forward to seeing all the opera etc bodies put their best into their counterattacks.

In the age of AI slop, being in the same physical space as the real actual performers is going to become the gold standard for entertainment once again. I'm sure Chalamet knows it too.
