@Knaughty @HeatherPC I know I haven't been on here much lately. Going through some things here. Getting a divorce, fighting for custody, both twins are dealing with illness, and I'm helping hold my mom together while she grieves the death of her brother.
I'm not much of a people person right now.
Well, we're twinning on the divorce. Though you've got little ones to worry about, in more than one way. We didn't have kids, thankfully.
I'm sorry to hear that your mother is hurting, sending her love.
Don't worry about being a people person for us, we get it. Life happens and usually all at once. We'll be sending you our best wishes while you deal with things and will be here when you need us.
Give those two kiddos some love from us 💕

Jennifer update: She got admitted last night. Dehydration, elevated sodium levels, and coronavirus (NOT Covid). She's gonna be here over the weekend (I'm currently sitting with her). James is at an appointment, but he'll be with me over the weekend as is custom when Jennifer is hospitalized. James and I are already planning the traditional ice cream party for when Jennifer gets home.
@HeatherPC @Knaughty ... and she's back home now. The real test will be in the morning and how she feels. She's not going to school tomorrow, but she was sleeping when she got home. Jennifer has 3 natural states: sleeping, fighting sleep, and being the boss. Hoping she can start being the boss. This daddy knows who he works for!
Also, I may wind up regretting it, but James is getting a light saber for his birthday. He wants one with a green blade, like Luke Skywalker. Could be fun...
At least it wasn't a chainsaw he asked for...
Sigh. I underestimated him again.
@HeatherPC @Knaughty The twins are on spring break. I have no idea what Jennifer will do; she may stay home with her mom as she is still fighting off an illness. James has decided he will be here terrorizing my neighbors and his brother (his words). I think that means he's feeling pretty good!
Also, we're doomed, and it's awesome!
Here's hoping little miss unpredictable quickly fights off this illness so she can either save you from James or join him in terrorizing everyone 😉
That's what I'd love to be doing right now. Had another poor night's sleep. I'm babysitting, so napping is going to have to wait.
@Knaughty @HeatherPC I hope you were able to rest. Today, James and I made vanilla ice cream (he approved), James taste tasted homemade cherry ice cream (he surprisingly approved with much enthusiasm), we went grocery shopping, and plan tomorrow to make Buffalo wings.
Jennifer stayed home, as she was fighting sleep. She woke up around 5AM, and despite clearly being sleepy, refuses to go to sleep. As of right this moment, she's so tired she appears drunk. Falling down, mean drunk. Poor baby.
