New FOSS funding model just dropped
@volt4ire I would definitely gatekeep macOS builds, especially if they had to be notarized
@WerySkok @volt4ire I mean you could just not publish them on the Mac Store..... Nobody's holding a gun to your head and forcing you to publish there
@snow @WerySkok @volt4ire i thought then your users arent able to just install without doing the signing themselves (or was that for ios not macos?)
@4censord @WerySkok @volt4ire If I remember correctly you can just install apps on Mac OS like you do on Windows please do correct me if I'm wrong.
@snow @4censord @WerySkok @volt4ire you can, but now there is a "gatekeeper", that you can disable, that prevents them to run if not notarized. In future releases, apps not notarized (i.e. signed with developer keys - €€€) will not be installable.
