The problem is that I’ve been alive probably muchonger than you, and I’ve seen news like this a hundred times already.
Next year the Amazon will again be burned down at record speed because of some new president that was elected who thinks that trees are useless wastes of space or something like that.
I would call it good news when the entire Amazon, all of it, is declared a nature preserve that humanity has to protect at all cost.
That will never happen. The best we can hope for is that it disappears a little slower
