I also added a high contrast map for colourblind people. In 2023 I met a cyclist with it, during a critical mass ride, he told me how much he struggled reading normal maps. This one's for you, Daniel!
I never knew how much could go into tweaking a map, I'm very proud of this areas this map highlights or hides away. For example, this map highlights Campgrounds from very var away, also water+bathroom stops, as well as places that sell food. Everything else is toned down, high ways, unnecessary car infra.

@mangara42.bsky.social I'm glad you noticed! I really like it too, it highlights parts of town that I often forget how hilly they are, like this area in front of Pimisi or the steep parts towards Rockliffe park
