Huh, a lot less #GDC hashtag activity on mastodon than I was expecting. On the bright side, that makes it a safe without overwhelming hashtag to follow!

@driph i noticed that gdc as a developer event kinda died in the popular consciousness about 7 years ago. now no one i know goes.

iā€™m sad to see they no longer appear to host Classic Game Postmortems which became my only draw towards the end

@vga256 Yeah, its been years since I've gone, and at this point it'd just be nice as a meeting point to see folks I miss (although DICE kinda performs that role for me now, since its local).

And I agree, some of the most memorable sessions have been the postmortems; I'd go to a conference that was ONLY those.
