Narcissism Exposed

Excerpt from upstream post:

"The Lifetime Practice Factor

Narcissists have often been lying since childhood as a survival mechanism, giving them decades of practice in deception, manipulation, and reading others’ responses. This extensive experience makes them skilled at crafting believable lies and detecting when others are suspicious.

Their skill development includes:
- Learning to read micro-expressions and body language
- Developing multiple versions of stories for different audiences
- Perfecting emotional performances that accompany their lies
- Understanding which lies work best with specific personality types
- Becoming skilled at mixing truth with lies to increase believability

Why this matters: By the time survivors encounter narcissists, they’re dealing with individuals who have spent decades perfecting their deception skills. This isn’t about intelligence or naivety – it’s about encountering someone whose entire life has been dedicated to becoming skilled at manipulation."

The Butterfly Effect (from the chaos theory realm) suggests that a butterfly flapping its wings can start a series of events that can eventually create a tornado elsewhere on the planet.

From the linked article below: "... chaos theory shows that a small change in initial conditions can produce a great change in the final outcome."

As such, is the butterfly at fault for creating the tornado? No, not a chance.

But when a vindictive narcissist takes some small snippet of truth and turns it into some horrendous drama to target and character assassinate the intended victim, every time the drama is told, the victim becomes more and more guilty in the mind of the narcissist as well as those exposed to the story every time it's told. And yet, isn't the targeted victim as innocent as the butterfly?
