Fuck American health care. We are back at square one. My wife has been in pain for the last year+, she finally saw a hip surgeon this morning, who reviewed her scans:
“Why are you here? This is a spine issue?”
“THE SPINE DOCTOR SENT ME TO YOU 9 MONTHS AGO, BUT YOU WOULD NOT SEE ME UNTIL I LOST WEIGHT.”
“Why did no one prescribe painkillers or anti-inflammatory meds?”
“GOOD FUCKING QUESTION!”
“Um ok. Here is a script for an anti-inflammatory, and MY spine specialist.
“THANKS, I guess.”
