Oh, wow. So Iran just elected the SON of the old cleric that Trump and Israel killed. The dude is 30 years younger. So now Iran is going to be headed by a more youthful and energetic version of the guy they killed. Great job. Really. No notes.

And of course, Trump is livid that this is the guy. Trump wanted someone more amenable to the West. Like, after being surprise-bombed all over the place by Israel and Trump, did they really think Iran would just be like, "Oh, our bad—is this guy more to your liking?"

Meanwhile, the Middle East is now a complete shitshow. Oil is not moving. The U.S. is spending a billion dollars a day pounding sites in Iran into rubble and defending its own assets in the region. AND FOR WHAT? All of this is making the future less secure and more expensive for Americans.
