terms of service 
i want iac, for iac i need a git service running, but how do i pull up the infrastructure for the git server without having anywhere to put the iac?

guess running terraform locally is the best option and then push both config and state up to the service

@thermia continuing the trauma vent - I had a clash with someone at work who *insisted* no TF state in git. I'm like where the fuck u want me to put the bit that sets up SSO and the buckets for state my dude?

@thermia we're probably about to have at it again - he's all terraform is amazing, put everything in one repo. Ditto each technology - helm in another, containers in another.

I have done this dance before and I will *************** myself if we attempt it here as an unforced error
