@demigrigo Can I just submit an issue for the TEI guidelines, or would it be expected to discuss the issue via the mailing list first?
(Specifically, I noticed that `<death>` and `<birth>` are not using `att.locatable` (and thus, `@where`), which seems odd given that the guideline prose describes them as specialized cases of `<event>`.)
@felwert @demigrigo *not* speaking for or on behalf of the board: but I think your question is clear and contured enough to just open an issue. On the other hand, people would maybe feel motivated to discuss this on the list, but would not become aware of the issue. So I would suggest to do both, open the issue and then point to it via TEI-L, inviting discussion or simply a thumbs up from its readers.
