The pro-Trump members of my car club on Facebook are trying to claim that gas price increases are not because of the Iran war, which is a hilarious and pathetic cope. I bet there is not a single oil markets analyst who will make the claim that the $100/barrel crude price isn’t directly caused by the #IranWar.

@drahardja They are not just connected. Gasoline futures and the price at the pump achieve alignment about as fast as they can. It’d be instantaneous if it could.
