fairly certain this would break a few laws over here, but it would be hard to detect/enforce

I'm not sure how valuable the data would be as TMPS sensors only send a string of digits and maybe there would be a wifi SSID giving the name of the car and an index number, but those aren't much use on their own without a *big* database of all the cars and the various data formats they use, I guess /someone/ is paying for that in USA (maybe hoping to sell it to ICE and any other stalkers who might want it?)
