Make strong black tea, don't over steep it. Remove tea bags. Grate an excess of fresh ginger into the pot. Wait. Strain it well. Add sugar (maple syrup is preferred) and milk/cream. Serve very hot. Alternate variations exist.
@Nux What? If you like ginger and tea and milk and sugar, then it's good! You can add tapioca bubbles if you like, just make sure to never add cinnamon!
@purpleidea you blow my mind 2 times in a row, never pondered I could just buy tapioca balls and Christ almighty they're available per kilogram much cheaper than a single boba tea on the high street.🤯 I'll do it! 😋
@Nux I recommend you try one of the "instant" / "microwave" versions if you aren't an experienced tapioca chef. Buying the normal kind is not worth it if you're not making many servings per day.
