Well, some of you know that this instance also offers a matrix server.
However, sone users have decided to join every room possible - on every server they can find.
And that causes our server to run out of space and being constantly overloaded all the time.
This is why we cant have nice things
@selea Oh, what's the recommended number of rooms? I think I'm at about six or seven. Too many?
I hadn't stopped to think that this would screw up the "nice things". Maybe many others didn't know either. An announcement on the linux.pizza channel would be a good preventive measure.
That amount of rooms is not the problem.
There is users connecting to thousands of rooms ..
