Do you think a major feature of watchOS 27 will be that pushing the “play” button on a Workout actually starts the workout, or do you think Apple is going to hold that back for watchOS 28?
@joesteel you’re gonna need new hardware.
@octothorpe @joesteel I’m on Ultra 3 and the behavior is worst than on my old Series 4.

@joesteel I wonder if the wrist flick gesture will stop instead of snooze an alarm on the Watch in watchOS 27. That gesture is supposed to dismiss, if I understood correctly.

I've heard your use case being broken in, was it watchOS 26 or the one before it (11?)?

@AncTreat5358 Since they shipped 26 with the redesigned Workout app. No point updates have addressed it in the slightest.
@joesteel I think it’ll be a main feature of watchOS 29. “We’ve heard your feeedback and we’re bringing back buttons on watchOS”
@joesteel paywalled behind Fitness++ i imagine

@joesteel I’m generally not a “change it back to the way it was before” kind of person when it comes to software changes. I’m very adaptable and learn quickly. I embrace change.

But the workout picker needs to go back to the card metaphor. It’s the perfect UI for a watch.

@joesteel all I wish for is that not all calendar events when listed in smart stack (or however the thing is called when you rotate the crown upwards) start at noon
@joesteel …or if the finger-tap gestures will actually work on the first attempt instead the third or fourth? Maybe? Sometimes? And never with insulated gloves on.
