@readit No. Tried it three times. The last time I ended up throwing it across the room.

I started it because I’d really enjoyed Love in the Time of Cholera. Not bothered with anything else by him.

@readit We read it high school. I was in the International Baccalaureate program which has an international literature component. As part of that we also read Borges and Kazantzakis.

@readit I gave up on reading One Hundred Years of Solitude, but I remember liking No One Writes to the Colonel when I read it a million years ago.

@readit Yes, and I loved every second of reading that book. I've read several of his other works but it's still my favorite.
