For #womenshistorymonth we're visiting local places that honor notable women. So this week, we visited parks, libraries, schools, and a sports center, named for US reformer Jane Addams, French mystic St. Catherine Labouré, Alice McLellan Birney (president of the National Congress of Mothers), Dee Hardison (mayor of #Torrance), Isabel Henderson (opened 1st library in Torrance, in 1913); we also visited a new mural of Alysa Liu in #gardena .
