@ecofriendlywest When they first started raising Wood Ducks in incubators the chicks would hatch but would be disoriented. They've evolved to fall from tree cavitities to the forest floor. So when raising Wood Ducks in an incubator it's important to take each chick and toss it over your shoulder. They hit the floor and all's right in their world.
