The intention seems to be to say "Pssst. Be careful. Not everything you see on the BBC News is true. But you didn't hear it from me. OK?" "Could you spot one?" is arguably #QTWTAIN although I think we can all imagine what a pink daffodil might look like, i.e. several variants of not like that.
