@Remittancegirl very interesting. I just got my first dose a few weeks ago. Here they suggest it from 50, but it’s only free for 65+. (I was told to wait 2-6 mo for 2nd dose, with 6 mo being marginally better.)

I got MMR at the same time and it hurt like a bastard. In comparison, the shingrix was in the normal range for pain. I developed a fever and chills a few hours later, lasted about 14h. A couple of days later I got a headache that lasted for a week. All told, not bad.
