Sue SmithKnow how folk will tune out anything that looks like an ad? Well I feel like something similar is happening with apps that have those super samey looking vibe coded UIs. Same with AI generated header images on blogs and the like. LinkedIn posts with the telltale language forms and structure etc. Seems like we're reaching the tipping point where signifiers of authentic authorship are going to be more valued than before in terms of people choosing to give you attention.
That's not to say that advanced users of LLMs will not still be able to sneak under the radar with their content, but that's a small minority I think.
Recently I've seen a few projects posted to reddit that sounded interesting, but when I clicked through they had those identikit UIs and I just lost interest, and sure enough they've garnered almost no traction on their posts.. If you want people to notice your website, hand coding it in vanilla html is what I would recommend rn lol.
