@hopeless @danielpunkass I do not care how good it might be. It’s an ethical issue for me: regardless of its usefulness (or lack thereof), genAI is not worth the cost.

Sure... that's why it makes me think about antivaxxers and then roadkill.
Evidence was the enemy for antivaxxers since it was verifiable, objective reality invading their nice, settled, faith-based understanding.
Roadkill got to its endpoint because it did not matter what its beliefs were, when the road was shared with dozens of hurtling 2-ton chunks of steel that were fine with some casualties so long as they got there faster.
