The Ukraine war is just Putin land-grabbing again, same as Chechnya, Georgia, Moldova and Crimea. The US failed to really provide any substantial support and also prevented use of the newest hitech equipment to protect it's interests in russian petro-chemical industry

@hashbangperl @QasimRashid I think the fact that Ukraine hasnt been able to independently take decisions about this war speaks volumes. From Boris Johnson in 2022 preventing peace talks to the present stalemate situation and Trumps preeminence in finding a way out to US davantage, its clear that Zelensky is not in control. NATO-US support is proxy support.They are unwilling/unable to offer sufficient support to win, but as Ukrainians are the ones doing the dying, the MFs are in no hurry.

@dacig @QasimRashid no, There isn't US support, nor NATO support for Ukraine, just European and some commonwealth (au/nz/can). Ukraine has turned the tide, but there are no ww2 style blitzkrieg any more as drones have changed modern warfare completely, so there won't be a repeat of the Kherson success.
