@EllenInEdmonton I just heard about some people who have used carrots instead of ginger in a ginger bug, and they say that the "carrot beer" is really wonderful.

@LifeTimeCooking I really love ginger, and I buy bagfuls at Costco that I keep in the freezer, so I'll probably stick with the original but carrot beer would certainly be fun!
