@redsad I realise it's not the point, but I never understood why the CEO deserved any respect just because he's a CEO.
Same applies to cops and soldiers.

@NickSchwanck @redsad It's actually quite easy: the CEO can fire you, cops and soldiers have weapons and will get away with using them against you. Disrespect them and you regret it for the rest of your life which might not be long.

Firing me or killing me for non-compliance doesn't engender respect. They engender fear.
