@evan The more platforms implement ActivityPub, the more people learn about our systems on the Fediverse.

The better these systems get wanting to actually make a better platform for the people to stay instead of locking them in because of the size of there userbase alone.

@aspensmonster Well I agree, platforms like Hacker News will most likely not add Fediverse Support in the future. This is thought excises that @evan often does to get people talking and thinking about the different uses of ActivityPub, There thoughts on these topics as well as how they see downsides.

Well most likely central platforms that are huge echo chambers will most likely not open up to the Fediverse it'll be amazing to see them doing it, it's also fun to see how it would change the landscape as a whole as the Fediverse should be for everyone, but just because a platforms for everyone doesn't mean you need to interact with everyone.
